Multiplier report: US-to-Canada hiring up 170%, sales roles outpace tech in global hiring
Global employment platform Multiplier released its Talent Trends report based on over 38,000 cross-border hires across 2,700+ companies, finding US-to-Canada hiring grew 170% and international leadership hiring is rising. Sales hiring grew 108% and customer support grew 59%, both outpacing the company's overall 53% hiring growth, while engineering and data roles remain the largest single function at 25% of hires, driven partly by H-1B visa volatility.
