About

The world's HR news, every day

HRDay is a daily briefing on what is changing in work and employment around the world: employment law and enforcement, pay and jobs data, hiring and talent, HR technology and AI, funding and M&A, and the workforce decisions of major employers.

How we work

  1. Collect. 329 sources — news outlets, government agencies, courts, law firms and research bodies across the US, Europe, Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, Africa and the Americas — checked every six hours, so readers in the Americas, Europe and Asia each get a fresh morning edition. Times on this site are US Eastern (ET).
  2. Filter. Press-release wires, job ads, event promotion and stale news are removed by rule before anything reaches an editor.
  3. Merge. Reports of the same event, including in different languages, become one brief, anchored on the original report and official sources.
  4. Check and write. AI reads the full article, extracts the facts (who, what, amounts, effective dates, scope) and drafts a short brief. It adds no commentary and nothing the source does not say. For policy news we link the official document where one exists.
  5. Attribute. Every brief lists its original reporting so readers can verify it.

AI disclosure

Briefs are written with AI assistance under editorial oversight: editors choose what leads, correct errors and take down anything inaccurate. Facts are as reported by the original sources; please check them there before relying on them. Nothing here is legal or investment advice.

Copyright

HRDay publishes its own factual summaries with links to the original articles. We do not republish source articles; copyright remains with the original publishers.
