NFP executive: Employee use of mental health benefits rises as employer investment falls 7% in 2025
According to NFP's latest trend report, cited by SVP Deb Smolensky, employee use of mental health benefits is rising even as employer investment in such benefits fell approximately 7% in 2025. Smolensky says the real gap is accessibility: employees often cannot quickly locate or use Employee Assistance Programs already offered to them.
