Generali to cut 9% of German workforce, consolidate offices
Italian insurer Generali plans to cut about 9% of its workforce in Germany and consolidate its office network into five regional hubs in Munich, Cologne, Karlsruhe, Hamburg and Saarbrücken. The company said job cuts will mainly be implemented through voluntary retirement arrangements as part of a cost-cutting restructuring.
